Job Summary



The role of Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding is to deliver specialist units in Fabrication and Welding qualifications, maintaining a safe and disciplined learning environment, effective communication, and efficient workflow.



Responsibilities include teaching and assessing learners to ensure retention, progression, and achievement. This involves delivering underpinning knowledge, coaching, producing learning plans, and schemes of work as required.



Delivering practical training within dedicated workshops on fabrication and welding processes, including theory delivery in a classroom setting, is a key aspect of the role. Subjects such as Health & Safety, Materials, Fabrication Principles, and Welding Principles are to be covered to further develop learners' understanding and ability.
