Job Summary

Safran Seats is seeking a highly skilled Operational Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling process, developing detailed schedules, and coordinating with external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the scheduling process, including developing detailed schedules and coordinating with external suppliers.
  • Develop and implement action plans to reduce hazards and uncertainties in the supply chain.
  • Manage inventory levels and develop forecasts to estimate stock on hand.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Attend weekly meetings to review performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a high level of service.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of production processes and supply chain management.
  • APICS CPIM certification or working towards it.
  • Proficiency in MRP2 process and business economics.
