Safran Seats is seeking a highly skilled Operational Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling process, developing detailed schedules, and coordinating with external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scheduling process, including developing detailed schedules and coordinating with external suppliers.
- Develop and implement action plans to reduce hazards and uncertainties in the supply chain.
- Manage inventory levels and develop forecasts to estimate stock on hand.
- Coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Attend weekly meetings to review performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a high level of service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
- Supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Detailed knowledge of production processes and supply chain management.
- APICS CPIM certification or working towards it.
- Proficiency in MRP2 process and business economics.
