Job Title: Fleet Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic team at our cutting-edge bus depot in the UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our bus fleet, ensuring they remain in peak condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a skilled team of engineers and technicians to maintain and repair our bus fleet
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize fleet performance
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source and procure new vehicles and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
