Senior Housing Project Manager

**About the Role:**
A leading construction company is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join their team in delivering high-quality housing projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of the projects, from initial estimates to final accounts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates for residential projects.
- Monitor project costs and identify potential cost savings opportunities.
- Manage variations and claims arising during project execution.
- Prepare and submit interim and final accounts for clients.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Excel, CostX, Asite).
The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per year, depending on experience.
