Import Logistics Coordinator Opportunity

Signet Resources is seeking a skilled Import Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Uxbridge. As an Import Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining import operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate imports, sourcing, repairs, and return material authorization (RMA) to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to enhance the import process and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance requirements to ensure accurate and compliant customs clearance instructions.
  • Manage the IPR (Inward Processing Relief) process from RMA to Bill of Discharge, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accessible for auditing purposes.
  • Prepare and submit accurate customs clearance instructions and other relevant paperwork to ensure timely and compliant import operations.
  • Work closely with import brokers to resolve issues and ensure compliance surrounding import regulations.
  • Organize and maintain extensive records, ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible for auditing purposes.
  • Verify and review shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth information flow and optimize the supply chain process.
  • Proactively communicate with external partners to resolve issues and optimize the supply chain process.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the organization industry or international transportation, with strong IPR (Inward Process Relief) process knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience with SAP or similar systems being advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team.
