We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at MacFarlane Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the wider Yorkshire region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a business plan to maximize sales and deliver excellent customer service
  • Prospect for new customers and turn this into increased business
  • Cold call and meet potential clients to grow and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches
  • Meet sales targets and maintain strong sales administration

Requirements

  • Recent B2B field sales/customer facing experience
  • Demonstrated record of impressive performance
  • Open to learning our business and sector
  • Comfortable with a technical solution-based sales approach
  • Valid UK driving license and residence in the wider Yorkshire County area
