We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at MacFarlane Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the wider Yorkshire region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business plan to maximize sales and deliver excellent customer service
- Prospect for new customers and turn this into increased business
- Cold call and meet potential clients to grow and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches
- Meet sales targets and maintain strong sales administration
Requirements
- Recent B2B field sales/customer facing experience
- Demonstrated record of impressive performance
- Open to learning our business and sector
- Comfortable with a technical solution-based sales approach
- Valid UK driving license and residence in the wider Yorkshire County area
