Motor Industry Supervisor

The NXT Recruitment team is excited to partner with a well-established company in Carlisle to find a skilled Workshop Foreman.
This permanent role offers a salary of £44,000 to £46,000 with potential earnings up to £55,000 and a range of benefits.
As a dynamic and experienced Workshop Foreman, you will lead and inspire a team of technicians, managing shifts and teams to maximise productivity and efficiently allocate man-hours.
You will also provide expert support in diagnostics and product assistance, focusing on customer satisfaction and delivering an outstanding service.
The key aspects of this role include:
- To carry out quality checks of the technicians' work to maintain good standard repairs
- To assist with training and development of apprentices, checking and signing off their work
- To assist technicians with problem repairs and provide technical advice where necessary
- To perform vehicle inspections and repairs to VOSA standards and in line with Company procedures
- To produce good productivity levels in line with IMIE repair times
The ideal candidate will hold recognised time-served training certification within the motor industry or similar engineering background and demonstrate extensive experience of working in the industry after apprenticeship/training completion.
A UK driving licence is essential, and a Class 1 or Class 2 licence is preferable.
