Institute of the Motor Industry. limited seeks an experienced Heavy Duty Vehicle Specialist to work on the M6 corridor, Monday to Friday.
Estimated salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
About the role:
The ideal candidate will have good mechanical engineering knowledge and experience with heavy-duty goods vehicles, including electric engines, gearboxes, and motors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overhaul vehicle electric drivetrains
- Inspect and test engines and transmissions
- Install and modify drivetrain
- Generate installation instructions and procedures
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working on heavy or passenger vehicles
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Problem-solving skills
