Lead Your Team in a Fast-Paced Environment

As a Senior Nurse in our Blood Donation team, you will play a critical role in leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our donors. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare assistants, donor care supervisors, and sister/charge nurses to deliver exceptional care to our donors.
  • Take clinical accountability for ensuring the safe collection of blood products and maintain high standards of care.
  • Motivate your team to promote continuous improvement and staff development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively plan and resource blood collection sessions.
  • Work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to cover blood collection sessions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
  • Full and valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
