As a Senior Nurse in our Blood Collection team, you will play a vital role in leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to our donors. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the safe collection of blood products and maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare assistants, donor care supervisors, and sister/charge nurses to deliver high-quality care to donors.
  • Take clinical accountability for ensuring the safe collection of blood products and maintaining regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Motivate your team to promote continuous improvement and staff development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively plan and resource blood collection sessions.
  • Work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to cover blood collection sessions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.
  • Full and valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
