Community Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join Belmont Recruitment as a Substance Misuse Interventionist. This role involves managing a caseload of 30-35 young people aged 13-18 who are facing problems with substance misuse.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of 30-35 young people aged 13-18 who are struggling with substance misuse
- Deliver workshops and group talks to young people in schools and colleges about the dangers of substance misuse
- Represent Belmont Recruitment as a spokesperson to promote awareness of substance misuse issues
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working in the Criminal Justice sector
- Expertise in dealing with substance misuse clients
- DBS clearance required
Salary and Benefits:
- £17,000 - £18,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
- 3-6 month rolling contract
- Referral Benefit Scheme available
- Free compliance (DBS, training etc.)
- Single point of contact consultant
- 24-hour support
- Regular communication updates
