Residential Care Manager

McCarthy Stone is a leading provider of retirement living communities, and we're seeking an experienced Residential Care Manager to join our team at Wilton Court in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
Role Overview
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to lead our care team and ensure the highest standards of care and support for our residents. As a Residential Care Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the care team, including staff supervision, training, and development.
About You
- You'll have a strong background in care management, preferably with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent experience.
- You'll be passionate about delivering exceptional care and service to our residents, with a focus on their dignity, comfort, and well-being.
- You'll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- You'll be a self-motivated and organized individual, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- You'll have a clear understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Care Act 2014 and CQC guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage the day-to-day operations of the care team, ensuring that high standards of care and support are delivered to residents.
- To supervise and train care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
- To develop and implement policies and procedures related to care delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- To work collaboratively with other departments, including maintenance, facilities, and marketing, to ensure seamless resident services.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, including incident logs, staff training records, and quality assurance audits.

Location and Working Hours
This role is based at Wilton Court in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, with regular working hours from 08:45am to 16:30pm or 16:15pm to 09:30am, Monday to Friday. Some evening shifts may be required, including weekends.
