About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Therapist to join our Eating Disorders Service. As a senior clinician, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of a new commissioned Intensive Day Programme for children and young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, treat, and outcome measure children and young people with eating disorders
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff and support the development of the service
  • Work closely with the Principle Clinical Lead and Team Manager to deliver psychological support to those in the intensive support pathway
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to support young people and their families

Requirements
  • Successful completion of a post-graduate training in psychological practice (psychologist or family therapist)
  • Registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, ACP, AFT, NMC)
  • Extensive experience of working with children and young people with eating disorders
  • Knowledge of research methodology and outcome research design
