About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team as a Falls Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist service providing evidence-based care to patients at high risk of falls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive multi-factorial specialist falls risk assessments and interventions to complex high risk falls patients in the community.
  • Provide specialist physiotherapy assessments, and evidence-based and goal-orientated interventions to this client group with highly complex presentations and multi-pathologies.
  • Act as a source of specialist advice, support and education regarding falls assessment, prevention and management to other community healthcare professionals.
  • Provide a triage role through the integrated falls referral pathway.
Requirements
  • Experience of community working, and falls assessment and management is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of MDT working with older people.
  • A car driver is essential.
