Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team in the Leeds Community Falls Service. As a Falls Specialist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care to patients at high risk of falls.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in vestibular assessment and rehabilitation, working closely with Consultant Geriatricians and other healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient-centered programs of care to a specialist level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive multi-factorial specialist falls risk assessments and interventions to complex high-risk falls patients in the community.
  • Providing specialist physiotherapy assessments, and evidence-based and goal-orientated interventions to this client group with highly complex presentations and multi-pathologies.
  • Acting as a source of specialist advice, support, and education regarding falls assessment, prevention, and management to other community healthcare professionals.
  • Providing a triage role through the integrated falls referral pathway.
