Senior Oncology Nurse Specialist

As a Senior Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cancer. Working as part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments, providing patient education, and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our clinical team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner in Chemotherapy Care, you will work closely with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise and knowledge will enable you to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
- Salary: £38,480 - £42,640 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Location: UK-wide
- Administer chemotherapy treatments, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
- Provide patient education on medication management, side effects, and treatment options.
- Support patients and carers through telephone calls, home visits, and clinic-based consultations.
- Assess patients' home environments to ensure they are safe and suitable for home IV oncology treatment.
- Complete line care for all IV oncology patients, ensuring lines are clean and clear.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- RGN registration with NMC
- Chemotherapy delivery qualification
- Experience in administering oncology medications in hospital or community settings
- Strong understanding of therapies relevant to service offering
