Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Essex area.

As an Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with cancer, including chemotherapy, blood tests, and clinical assessments.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering chemotherapy and other oncology treatments
  • Conducting clinical assessments and developing care plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues

The salary for this role is approximately £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Requirements:

  • RGN with active NMC PIN
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in community-based work is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the acute setting and competence in chemotherapy administration, cytotoxic drugs, cannulation, and clinical assessments
  • SACT Passport is desirable but not essential
