We are seeking a skilled Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders in Care, a leading home care provider with exciting growth plans. This Community Chemotherapy Nurse role is based in the Chelmsford area and offers a competitive salary of up to £42,640, a fully expensed company car, private healthcare cover, and more excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality chemotherapy treatment in the comfort of patients' homes, working closely with the NHS to deliver exceptional patient-focused care.
- To oversee a caseload of approximately 2 to 3 patients per day, ensuring excellent standards of education and clinical care.
- To build long-lasting relationships with patients, carers, and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery.
- To ensure all clinical data is documented and adverse drug events reported via the correct protocol.
- A Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC pin.
- A full UK driving license.
- A current SACT passport and competency in the administration of cytotoxic drugs, cannulation, and clinical assessments.
- A competitive salary of up to £42,640.
- A fully expensed company car and fuel card, or car allowance of £4877.50 per annum plus mileage.
- Private healthcare cover.
- Annual new skills package with ongoing training and development & financial support to achieve new qualifications.
- NMC fees paid for.
- Weekend and evening enhancements – 30% / 60%.
