About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Conifers Team, which is part of the Children's Safeguarding (Long Term) Teams in Wokingham Borough Council.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with and improving outcomes for children and will work closely with the team to achieve this goal.

The role involves developing and implementing effective social work plans, collaborating with colleagues and external agencies, and maintaining accurate records of case work.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Social Worker in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of child safeguarding policies and procedures.

  • A competitive salary of £51,710 - £52,764 per annum (inclusive of a £3,000 market supplement).
