Older Prisoner Coordinator

Red Snapper Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Older Prisoner Coordinator to join their team at HMP Ashfield in Bristol.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating meaningful activities for the older population, providing high-quality support, advice, and intervention to meet the complex needs of these individuals.
This part-time, permanent position requires a current driving license and access to a vehicle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver services that promote positive health and wellbeing.
- Identify and provide support, information, and advice to older prisoners on reducing re-offending.
- Develop a timetable of events and promote prison-wide initiatives.
- Engage with other departments to draw on additional support.
- Collect monitoring and evaluation information.
- Perform other duties as required by the Service Manager/Buddy Lead.
- Work within the contract, policies, procedures, and budgets set by the Management Team and Board.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of re-offending pathways and support services.
