About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Tendering Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the Transformers business through sales and tendering, implementing the local product marketing strategy, and visiting potential clients to present our offerings and agree client requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and tendering strategies to achieve business targets and grow new customers.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to conduct market analysis, create forecasts, and develop detailed business/marketing plans for allocated areas of the portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System, Safety Procedures, and Accountancy Policies and approval procedures.
- Live our core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your Background:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or a similar field, with 2 years of experience in Sales and/or tendering. A passion for sales in a technical setting and familiarity with prospecting and closing deals with customers are essential. You will also need to be comfortable with frequent travel and interaction with customers, mainly within the allocated markets (UK and IE).
