">The Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our historic RSA House in central London.
">About the Role
">We are looking for a seasoned facilities professional with extensive experience in managing buildings services, budgets, and teams. As our new Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facilities at RSA House, including Grade I and II listed spaces, office floors, public areas, and venue hire spaces.
">You will lead the facilities team to deliver a secure 24/7 service that meets the diverse needs of our members, guests, and stakeholders. Your key areas of focus will include:

- Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies for RSA House, both internally and externally;">
- Ledning the facilities team to ensure a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction;">
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant legislation;">
- Managing the facilities budget, including operational and capital expenditure;">
- Fostering a culture of sustainability within the facilities department, aligning with the RSA's regenerative mission;">
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional events, conferences, and meetings;">
- Negotiating with external suppliers and contractors to secure best-value services;">
- Maintaining accurate records and reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.">

About You
">To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A degree in a relevant field, such as facilities management, construction, or a related discipline;">
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a similar context;">
- Proven track record of leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality results;">
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;">
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant legislation;">
- Familiarity with sustainable practices and environmental initiatives;">
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach;">
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.">
