Adult Audiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adult Audiologist to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative services for adults with hearing loss and ear-related disorders.
The Audiologist will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, conduct audiological assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct full audiological assessments, including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry.
- Examine the ear using otoscopy and identify any abnormalities or pathology.
- Take medical histories and obtain holistic information about patients' disabilities, handicaps, and expectations.
- Provide expert advice to other staff, ENT consultants, and patients on hearing aid fitting, maintenance, and repair.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- BSc or PTP in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council or RCCP.
- Post-qualification experience working in an adult audiology department.
- Competence in managing adult diagnostic and rehabilitative caseloads.
- Awareness of current UK Audiology guidance, including NICE.
