About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audiologist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to adults, including diagnostic testing, hearing aid services, and rehabilitation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide independent diagnostic audiological testing of adults
  • Responsible for the safe use and calibration of equipment
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide a comprehensive hearing aid service to adults, including determining care plans and involving carers and families as appropriate
  • Take an active role in clinical audit, research, and clinical governance for the Audiology service

Person Specification
  • Audiology degree with evidence of clinical competence
  • Registration with RCCP as an Audiologist or HCPC as a Clinical Scientist (Audiology)
  • Evidence of CPD and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • British Sign Language skills
  • Membership of BAA and/or BSA
