About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Audiologist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As an Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation services for adults with hearing and balance disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent diagnostic audiological testing of adults, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Provide a comprehensive independent hearing aid service to adults, including determining care plans and involving carers and families as appropriate.
  • Take an active role in clinical audit, research, and clinical governance for the Audiology service, contributing to the development of evidence-based protocols.
  • Be responsible for the smooth running of a specified area of the Audiology service.

Person Specification
  • Audiology Degree with evidence of clinical competence or MSc in Audiological Science with evidence of clinical competence.
  • Registration with RCCP as an Audiologist or HCPC as a Clinical Scientist (Audiology).
  • Broad experience as a band 5 and experience of working within the NHS.
