About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Assistant to join our team at the Devon Out of Hours (OOH) service on a Part Time, 3 week rolling rota basis. This position offers a variety of set shifts across 3 weeks and is an average of hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager in the running of Practice Plus Groups services throughout Devon OOH, with a focus on our Plymouth sites.
  • Ensure the delivery of a high-quality service for Practice Plus Group patients by utilizing resources and conducting regular audits to monitor and evaluate the performance of operational staff.
  • Assist with the recruitment, selection, and training of new operational staff and provide the Operations Manager with reports as needed.
  • Work unsociable hours as part of our OOH service.

Requirements

  • A good standard of education.
  • Previous experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • The ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • A good knowledge of the local area and good map reading skills.
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
