About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Marriott International. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and provide exceptional customer service
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Respond to accidents, contact Emergency Medical Services or administer first aid/CPR as required
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and provide support as needed
  • Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
  • Defuse guest and employee disturbances in a professional and respectful manner
  • Complete incident reports to document all Security related incidents
  • Escort any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation
  • Complete a Security shift summary/daily activity report
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Security and property reports/documents
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence, including interviews with relevant parties
  • Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
Requirements
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and inspire confidence in others
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Sophisticated communication skills
  • Previous experience working in five-star, luxury hotels
  • Positive mindset and genuine passion for working in hospitality
