Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Receptionist to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a welcoming and friendly front-of-house service to all staff, visitors, and contractors entering and exiting the building.
  • Ensuring all visitors are signed in as per site security requirements.
  • To provide a proactive front-of-house service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained. For example, booking taxis, booking meeting rooms or providing additional information.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and contractors with queries and offer additional assistance as required.
  • Always adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Answering calls quickly and efficiently.
  • To always remain calm and professional.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks and duties as required.
  • To follow clear lines of communication.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • SIA Door Supervisor License is essential.
  • A full UK Driving License and a vehicle are essential.
  • Efficient and punctual.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisation, verbal, and written skills.
  • I can work as part of a team.
  • Confident to work alone.
  • Able to prioritise effectively.
  • To be successfully appointed for this role you will need to undertake and pass a CTC security check.
  • SIA license is essential
