Mental health support is a vital service, especially for children and young people. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs in a SEMH school.

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside therapists and psychologists based on-site at school, providing invaluable experience in special needs and mental health issues.

Key responsibilities include working with students who have complex needs, developing individualized plans to address their specific requirements, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for the mental wellbeing of children and a desire to build a career in therapy or psychology.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting, including Level 3 qualifications+ and a Degree.
