About the Role


Supply Desk is seeking a skilled Learning Assistant to support the teaching and learning process in our school. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.


Key Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Assist in the creation of learning materials and resources.
  • Support the teacher in behaviour management and maintaining a disciplined, respectful classroom atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the tracking and assessment of student progress.

Requirements



  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • A passion for education and supporting students' academic and personal development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
