Role Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Surgeon to lead our Urology Department at Hywel Dda University Health Board. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care and be able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a comprehensive urology service, working closely with existing colleagues to ensure provision of the service as per direction of the Health Board.
  • Conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements within the parameters of the Division's and Health Board's agreed objectives.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call rota and offer acute inpatient assessment and treatment, deliver outpatient clinics and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and hold a Licence to Practice.
  • On the Specialist Register with GMC or CCT due within 6 months of interview date, or CESR or equivalent European Qualifications for Specialist Registration.
  • Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills.
Salary:

£80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
