About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior urologist to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of our urology service. As a Consultant Urologist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with urological conditions, working closely with specialist nurses and physician colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality patient care, conducting clinical assessments, investigations, and treatments as required.
  • To participate in the emergency on-call rota and offer acute inpatient assessment and treatment, delivering outpatient clinics and procedures as needed.
  • To work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
  • To contribute to the development of our urology service, including the initiation, progression, and completion of audit and research projects.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled urologist who can demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • A further relevant degree or diploma.
  • On the Specialist Register with the GMC as a specialist in Urology.
  • Competent in all core urology procedures.
  • Evidence of teaching and training of post/undergraduate medical staff.
  • Evidence of initiating, progressing, and completing audit and research projects.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £90,000 - £115,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
