About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions, an award-winning charity that promotes independence for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting three middle-aged gentlemen with keen interests in music, sports, and theatre. They have learning disabilities and autism, and epilepsy, and require assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication.

Our ideal candidate will have a caring, kind, and thoughtful nature, with a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities and autism is desirable, but not essential.

The role involves a mixed shift pattern, including late shifts, days, sleep-ins, and alternate weekends. You will be responsible for supporting our service users with daily living tasks, such as shopping, housework, and laundry, as well as encouraging them to participate in education, employment, and leisure activities.
