Job Summary:

Dimensions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our team. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with daily hygiene and care routines, ensuring the highest level of dignity and respect for our service users.
  • Manual Handling: Safely and effectively provide physical support, adhering to our organization's manual handling policies and procedures.
  • Medication Administration: Manage and administer prescribed medications, maintaining accurate records and adhering to our organization's medication administration policies.
  • Household Tasks: Assist with daily chores to maintain a comfortable and safe living environment, promoting independence and autonomy for our service users.
  • Relationship Building: Foster meaningful connections with our service users, creating opportunities for social engagement, recreation, and personal growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Health and Social Care settings, with a strong background in similar roles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including waking nights and day shifts, to meet the needs of our service users.
