Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Dimensions, a leading social care organisation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live fulfilling lives. This will involve assisting with daily hygiene and care routines, ensuring safe and effective physical support, managing and administering prescribed medications, and helping with daily chores to maintain a comfortable living environment.

You will also be responsible for building meaningful connections with our service users, creating opportunities for social engagement and recreation, and supporting them to develop their independence and life skills.

Requirements:
  • Experience in Health and Social Care settings
  • Strong background in similar roles, equipped to foster independence and empower individuals to live fulfilling lives
  • Ability to undertake British Sign Language qualification and health and social care qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
