About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Blaenavon Medical Practice. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical examinations and assessments to diagnose and monitor patient conditions
  • Conduct patient consultations at home and within the surgery, providing empathetic and personalized care
  • Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing, ensuring timely interventions and referrals as needed
  • Carry out home visits where required, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Diagnose and treat various illnesses and ailments, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to provide effective care
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals, including midwives, pharmacists, and psychiatrists, to ensure seamless care coordination
Person Specification
  • Member of the GMC Register
  • Registered on Welsh Performers List
  • Experience working in Primary Care, with a strong understanding of patient needs and healthcare systems
