About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Blaenavon Medical Practice. As a GP, you will work autonomously and collaborate with our welcoming and supportive nursing and administration team to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

As a General Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing clinical examinations to assess, diagnose, and monitor patient conditions
  • Conducting patient consultations at home and within the surgery
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and wellbeing
  • Carrying out home visits where necessary
  • Diagnosing and treating various illnesses and ailments
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals as part of multidisciplinary teams
