Recovery Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by substance use, providing tailored interventions, and promoting recovery and resilience.
About the Role:- Provide empathetic support to service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to reduce harm caused by opiate use, including group sessions and one-on-one engagement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive recovery-focused detoxification plans, including pre-detox preparation and post-care support.
- Collaborate with external agencies and the community to enhance recovery resources and support service users.
- Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the community in the recovery process.
- Work closely with service users to facilitate social reintegration and promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for clients, including GPs and pharmacists.
- Offer community-based clinics for clients.
- Experience in delivering interventions for individuals affected by substances, with a focus on opiate use.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in IT.
- Proactive qualities, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
- The ability to navigate change effectively, prioritizing the needs of service users.
- A commitment to information governance processes and adherence to necessary safeguards.
- A willingness to pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing by one day for each year of service for the first 5 years.
