Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Design and Implementation: Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of early years students, fostering a love for learning and promoting academic excellence.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
  • Student Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues and parents to support student well-being, academic success, and overall development.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student achievement and communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on student progress.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Early Years Education.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience working with early years students, ideally within a school setting.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough understanding of early childhood development principles, effective teaching strategies, and excellent communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong team player with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning, able to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
