Water Mains Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Mains Engineer to join the Auger Team, covering Croydon and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently completing water mains investigations and repairs on-site for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leak detection and repair using listening sticks, ground mics, and other equipment
  • Trenchless installation via moling, with a focus on efficient and effective solutions
  • Logical approach to water mains investigation to establish ownership of supply pipe and liability based on leak location
  • 20mm to 32mm service laying, including creation of new 'point of entry'
  • Use of CAT scanner to identify buried services and trace/locate existing metallic water supply
  • Reinstatement of various domestic surface types, including paving slabs, block paving, cold lay tarmac, and concrete

Requirements:

  • A clear basic DBS check
  • Driving license check
  • Job competency and relevant experience
