About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Signalling and Telecoms Operative. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions to maintain and repair signalling and telecoms equipment
  • Develop and maintain technical skills across a range of manual, electrical, and digital equipment
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver safe and efficient work delivery
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
Requirements
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Basic understanding of signalling and telecoms principles
  • Valid driving licence (category B)
