- Use your technical skills to inspect, fault, maintain, and renew railway infrastructure, while consistently developing your skills and competencies relevant to your discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with strict safety standards.
- Leadership skills to motivate and direct a team for safe and efficient work delivery.
- Effective communication skills to deliver clear instructions to the team and other colleagues.
- Technical skills and knowledge of inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques in the discipline you are applying for.
- Safety-focused behavior, with the ability to arrange and implement safe systems of work and challenge situations that may be unsafe.
- Problem-solving skills to find safe and effective solutions, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills and competencies relevant to your discipline.
- Relevant qualification, such as an NVQ Level 1 or 2 linked to the discipline you are applying for, or equivalent level of relevant experience.
