We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of endoscopy equipment and decontamination procedures
- Support clinical staff in the endoscopy department, including preparing patients for procedures and providing post-procedure care
- Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to trust policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- NVQ/QCF Diploma Level 2 or equivalent qualification in healthcare
- GCSE English grade G/1 (or above) or Functional Skills English level 1
- GCSE maths grade G/1 (or above) or Functional Skills maths level 1
- Completion of the Care Certificate (or willingness to undertake)
- Decontamination training
- NVQ Level 2 in direct care
- Technicians' Training course in GI Endoscopy
