Business Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Business Partner to join our Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships and initiatives.
About the Role:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering business growth and has a proven track record of developing relationships at all levels. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop strategies and put plans into action, driving business development initiatives forward with area teams and the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
- Lead key account planning and client care meetings
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with marketing colleagues
- Lead sales and business development meetings
- Use CRM and client analytics to identify and unlock new work opportunities
- Research and identify new areas of referral and partnership opportunities
- Act as a conduit between fee-earning teams and wider marketing specialists
- Encourage, challenge, and coach partners and fee earners with their own business development goals
Requirements:
- Experience of working as a business development manager in professional services
- Passionate about delivering business growth
- Excellent at developing relationships at all levels
- Highly engaging and a strong influencer, able to collaborate and bring colleagues on board with new initiatives
- A strong self-manager with sound prioritisation skills
- Experienced at moving strategy into action
- A flexible approach, to be agile-minded and respond positively to change
- A keen eye for spotting commercial opportunities
- Full of ideas and initiative
- Excellent written and presenting skills
- Resilience, comfortable working on multiple projects within a fast-paced, fast-changing working environment
