The Atrium Health Centre is a healthcare facility dedicated to providing top-notch medical care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Professional to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Healthcare Support Professional, you will play a vital role in enabling our nurses to focus on complex clinical tasks, allowing them to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Support registered nurses in daily patient care activities, prioritizing tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Undertake new patient health checks, including baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist with health promotion programs, supporting Practice Nurses in educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
- Facilitate routine and 24-hour BP monitoring, advising patients accordingly.
- Participate in wound care, dressings, and other clinical tasks as required, working closely with nursing staff.
- GCSE or equivalent (desired)
- Primary Care experience preferred, but not essential.
- Flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends.
