Job Summary:

The Training and Events Coordinator will be responsible for expertly managing the efficient coordination of training courses and events across all 3 Divisions and the Learning and Development function.

This role necessitates a technically proficient individual with a strong emphasis on Excel expertise, coupled with a personable and collaborative approach.

Visible presence in the House of Learning during training experiences is vital to ensure impactful experiences and connection with attendees.

This role will ensure seamless organisation before, during and after training events, acting as a key partner to all members of the Training Department and our collaborators across the business.

The role covers all in-person training delivered both in the House of Learning and off-site locations, as well as supporting in the implementation of virtual training moments.

This position is an integral part of the Training Department, key in the efficient running of the House of Learning and an ambassador for training, inclusivity and people-centred learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work proactively with the Training team and Training Director to ensure seamless coordination of the training curriculum for the year ahead.
  • Book all travel and hotel requirements for trainees in a timely manner and respond efficiently to any necessary changes.
  • Provide efficient and engaging communication on all training courses and events in a timely manner, with consideration for the nuances of each course, division/function.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development Manager to support in establishing coordination processes and implementation of learning experiences for this function.
  • Provide administrative support to the Training Director and Training team as needed.
  • Oversee the processing, coding and approving of relevant invoices as per company procedure in a timely manner as well as proactively monitoring expenditure in relevant areas.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience organising projects, events or training sessions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Events Management (CEM) is a plus.
