About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Apetito Limited. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering improvements to equipment and operations, working on a variety of projects that add value to the business and drive business improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Capital projects at our Trowbridge manufacturing site to improve safety, costs, quality, environmental impact, and production capability.
  • Act as the single point of contact for day-to-day management and delivery of projects on time and to budget.
  • Work with the Business Sponsor and key stakeholders to define project scope and objectives and secure approval.
  • Plan and coordinate all activities required to deliver project phases, including supplier management, procurement, business engagement, stakeholder management, and risk management.
  • Ensure that all activities are resourced appropriately and that necessary maintenance information is provided to the onsite maintenance team.
  • Introduce new technologies for competitive advantage, including robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence-based systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver world-class business plans and objectives, including safety, quality, cost, and service.
Requirements
  • Relevant and proven experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment delivering complex capital projects on time and to budget.
  • Strong project management skills, including problem-solving, continuous improvement, and lean processes.
  • Good financial acumen with experience of managing capital project budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the wider team and stakeholders.
