HR Business Partner

Job Summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Talent Management

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
  • Identify and develop talent through succession planning and profiling
  • Conduct demographic reviews and analysis to inform business decisions

Employee Relations

  • Manage and conduct investigations, hearings, and appeals related to employee grievances and disciplinary actions
  • Coach and support line managers in performance management and employee relations
  • Deliver mediation sessions to resolve conflicts and improve employee engagement
  • Analyze employee engagement levels and develop strategies to improve morale and reduce turnover

HR Systems and Finance

  • Manage and maintain HR systems, including HROne, Crown, and JMS
  • Prepare financial analysis and reports for presentation to senior management
  • Support the HR Manager in the preparation of annual pay negotiations

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent CIPD qualification
  • 5-7 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary HR environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Chartered membership of CIPD
  • Systems literacy and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of employee relations and legislation
