Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at DO & CO. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our production and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Daily Tasks: Work closely with the QA Supervisor and Manager to conduct daily tasks and ensure that all quality checks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Review and Verify Quality Checks: Conduct regular reviews and verifications of daily quality checks of goods delivered by our suppliers to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Chiller and Dry Store Management: Oversee the management of chillers and dry stores within the production and warehouse, including the implementation of FIFO, batch codes, and expiry dates, as well as allergen segregation.
  • Audits and Compliance: Conduct regular audits across different areas of the kitchen/operation to ensure that all paperwork is up-to-date, temperature controls are performed regularly and recorded, and cleanliness levels are maintained.
  • Support to QA Events Team: Provide support to the QA Events Team in diverse locations across the world when necessary.
  • Incident Reporting: Submit daily reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor about any incidents, issues, and solutions, as well as general information about the daily production development.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate role model ability, leading a team, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to provide the best service with a problem-solving mentality.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Have a passion for high-end cuisine, a love for food, and a motivation to deliver exceptional service.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Be a well-presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success, and a clear and engaging communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Change Management: Be flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family.
  • Expertise and Certifications: Have a great understanding and working knowledge of your department and be the expert in delivering practical actions for its improvement by taking a hands-on approach, and hold HACCP & Food Hygiene Certification.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a BSc in Food Science or experience in a similar role, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office package with excellent working knowledge of reporting and managing data.
